As a surprise to the attendees down at Rock am Ring today, it was announced that Linkin Park will be headlining next year's edition of the annual German festivals, Rock am Ring and Rock im Park. This adds another couple of Germany dates to the band's 2026 tour in Europe, now totaling 5 shows in the country. Linkin Park has performed a total of five of Rock am Ring shows to date throughout the years, along with another five Rock im Park shows (the band played two back-to-back Rock im Park days in 2001, and none in 2004.) This announcement comes on the 21-year anniversary of the band's legendary performance at the 2004 edition of Rock am Ring, and we're sure that the 2026 performance will go down in history as well. No specific date has been announced yet, but tickets for the next year's festival go on sale Tuesday, June 10th. Are you attending any of these two festivals next year? Have you attended any of the previous Linkin Park performances at Rock am Ring or Rock im Park? Come and discuss in our forums. Source: @Michele
The band is so huge right now. It is unbelievable how they went from indefinite hiatus (to public eyes at least) to all these sports partnerships, sold out Wembley, and now this massive announcement in partnership with Rock am Ring. Wowza
Man i already know its gonna be hell to get in front of the stage for LP. But the ticket will be ordered on Tuesday of course!
They're clearly not taking any of it for granted either. Right from when they announced their return last September, there has been no coasting by, they're putting 100% in at every turn.
