Great news though I'm not really surprised to see them play something like that. :)
Be interesting to see the length of their set too, though I'd assume it's a short one.

Just a minor thing, could you change the spelling of "Edinburg"? it should be spelt "Edinburgh". Just a small typo.

iam going to the london show with my mate.... its sounds cool but it would be totally better if LP were playing!

i was thinking that they might only play something between 8 and 12 tracks?

Good news, but don't expect anything more than a few of their hits, and maybe a collab with Jay Z.

Good for them. I'm glad that they're going to play the Philly date. I was going to try to go to that show but my parents don't want me going. Sometimes I wish they weren't so overprotective.

I hope they do one of those things at the end where all the artists come out on stage and sing a song.

It's not a tour, so LP isn't playing in Toronto.

Just in case that's what you thought.

I don't know how much tickets are but Linkin Park is not playing in Toronto. They are only playing the Philadelphia date. ;)

Anyone know if this is going to be recorded/televised?

Why must Collision Course come and haunt us again? I hope Linkin Park mixes up their setlist somewhat like maybe they could end the show with something else besides One Step Closer for once.

Why would they do that? This isn't a Linkin Park show so more-than-likely, there won't be too many people there for LP...but people will know the hits even if they don't want to.

Guaranteed, all they play is their singles.

They should get some Fort Minor stuff in there.

You know, to change up the pace.

And to let us hear a song from there.

That'd be awesome if SOB comes out and they do "Remember The Name" and Hov adds a verse to it just for the fuck of it.

There will be a live webcast of the entire Live 8 concert on AOL Music. Guess who's ripping it. ;)

And BTW, in case anyone was wondering, Live 8 is a FREE concert. So if you can make it out to Philly, you should by all means go.

*Edit* Here's a quote with more information:

For those who can't be there, the event will be broadcast live on the radio and the net, no matter where you are in the world you can be a part of this special event. There will be a live webcast on AOL US, UK, Germany and France. In UK, the show will be broadcast live on BBC One, Two and Three and radio broadcast on Radio's 1 and 2, the BBC World Service and across the BBC's regional stations. And MTV US will also have live telecast starting at noon ET, including live performances and interviews, more details coming soon.
