I'm going to be honest. I support everything Linkin Park does. And I do support this single. I'm sure I'll like it. But I hope the whole album isn't going to be like it. I also really dislike Kiiara's "Gold", with a passion, but I've never heard any of her other stuff. Staying positive, though.
So true. I just want an album where I can sit down and say that was an epic experience of music. It would be nice if it was longer than THP but about the same length works.
I personally tend not to like albums with a lot of full tracks because it usually gets boring to me, save for some exceptions. 15 in A thousand suns was ok because of the interludes. I do trust they would be capable of making it interesting though.
I hope this whole album has a Robot Boy vibe going on. Also the beat at the end of this clip is sick.
Now that I've checked some of Kiiara's stuff out...I've gotta say, to be frank, I am not looking forward to having her in a song.
I think it's important to remember that she will most likely only be a "voice" on the record, rather than having been a tonal influence. I think her work, and even her clip from last night, shows that she has, if nothing else, a great singing voice. I trust that LP will utilize her talents to their fullest for their own purposes and style.
To me it doesn't matter as long as it's good. Some of the best albums of all time are super long and some are super short. Examples: Long- Taylor Swift- 1989 (Deluxe) The 1975- The 1975 (Deluxe) Eminem- The Eminem Show Short- Blink-182- Enema of the State Linkin Park- Hybrid Thoery Pink Floyd- Dark Side of the Moon I just hope for good music and no interludes
Just based on that clip, I'm digging the direction they're going in. The way the song is produced doesn't really sound line anything they've done before. It almost feels R&Bish. Even so, it's hilarious to me that they're making music like this right after the album where they bashed groups like Chvrches for not being "carnivores," or being heavy enough. Fucking lol.
Excuse me, you spelled "Carly Rae Jepsen - E•MO•TION (Side A & B)" wrong. Either that or you think 1989 is a good album, which is pretty laughable.
Isn't this board about not putting down others music choices, and didn't I just see that posted somewhere in a recent thread today about a mod going off on someone for it? I like 1989.. It's amazing.
