THP doesnt even come close not even a glimpse of what HT sounds like, excluding Wastelands, and maybe KTTK, but KTTK is way more heavier than anything on HT imo. LP can make the most heaviest song and make it poppy and top the charts.
I haven't seen anyone make note of the fact they released a clip on Thursday, when many people seemed to suggest it was only Monday/Wed/Friday releases. Hopefully we get one Monday, then the last clip is the video itself as many people have suggested!
Seems like Linkin Park have collaborated with Moto and JBL. I just saw a Moto Z JBL Mod Advert with the caption "Start The Party with Linkin Park in a Snap" and there was some music playing in the background. It was kind of a 5 second advert before a video on YouTube. Please see to it everyone Edit - Captured it. Sorry for the low quality. I'll upload a better one if I get to. Thanks The Hype Train goes on....
Im still searching for the link. Ive watched the ad 2 times and both were before music videos. Please watch some videos, you'll surely get it. I'm watching YouTube now with Screen Recorder on. Haha. I'll post the ad as soon as I get to capture it.
I wonder if LP is gonna go so retro that nu metal will be ole metal since nu metal is technically old. So if The Hunting Party is a prequel to Hybrid Theory, then Meteora is the evolution, whats the sequel?
I watched it the first time before a LP concert upload and then again before an African traditional drum video.
I don't want a nu-metal revival. The sound was successful at the time but LP came in right at the tail-end of nu-metal. It's also just not a good sound in general, imo. A lot of it is very watered down metal, amateurish electronic production, mediocre rapping and grungy singing. LP managed to avoid a lot of those traits but most of the nu-metal bands at the time weren't so fortunate. I really don't think Mike wants to make that kind of music again, though there are find memories and great nostalgia about that era.
Doesn't sound like LP, sound too generic like an ad music. But since the ad mention LP then play the music after strapping that speaker. Must be...
Yeah that's Heavy..... same chord progression I can hear it. I love what I am hearing even though it's low quality
Yeah I agree. I've been listening and relistening to the "Drum Idea" clip and the ad, I think it is "Heavy". Will see though.
Hmmm, interesting. I really think we will get the song this week. It's weird that an ad showed up before the song was released. The hype train is here!
It kinda sucks that the band relies on tie-up releases (and free streams before putting the song for purchase) in order to promote their lead singles now. I'd rather they have a traditional single release, then probably roll out the tie-ins afterwards. The tie-in releases didn't help Light That Never Comes & GATS, but the trad releases helped Burn It Down and Catalyst immensely.
