Nah, i am pretty openminden towards LP, but i guess somewhere here the line is crossed for me. There are some good parts in the song, but the most part i just dont really like. I am not very optimistic to the other songs right now to be honest.
Not Selena, more like soft version of Katy Perry's - Roar. Which isn't necessary a bad thing if you like Katy Perry.
It's an average song , nothing special But I'm already anticipating huge shitstorm by the official release of the song
To be honest, this song would work well in a romance movie, I can picture it already. Lol this may be the only Pop album I'll ever buy.
This is nowhere near a chill vibe song, it is a high energy popish song, get your head out of your ass, this is a chill song: https://soundcloud.com/retroculture/calling
Haven't listened to the song, but, thought this one would be the outlier on the album based on the title.
I like how you compare a "soft" song to a pussy. That's such an inaccurate comparison. Have you SEEN a pussy? BABIES EXIT THROUGH THERE. And then like a month later, it's all like, "You wanna stick a sausage in here? Good fucking luck kiddo, bring some lube." Pussies are tough as shit.
The best thing off the album so far (Well and the only good thing for me) has been the wee One More Light snippet
True, but sometimes you can tell very quickly if you like something or not. It's pretty rare for me to not even want to give an LP song a second listen. I did though and I still don't like it
ahahah great reply. (i'm 27 btw and my sexual life is good for your information). my opinion is that they have produced this shit album just to sell (THP was not so good).
This is the most bullsh-t post I've ever read on these forums, and I've ran this site for nearly 16 years. Congratulations. Wishing a band you love to breakup because you hate the sound, is so beyond absurd it's ridiculous. I'm sorry but grow up. I have no sympathy for you if others criticize you because this is insane.
I don't think LP cares about album sales, same as most artists. Artists don't make money off of albums. They make money off of tours and merch. And THP was their best-selling tour ever. Your argument is invalid.
-I like this song more than Heavy. It sounds like something LP could have put out at any point in their career unlike Heavy which to me screams "we'll do anything to be on the radio again". - I enjoy Chesters 's clean vocals, however, the instrumental is very poor. If they had all the melodies and lyrics first (which Mike said was the process this time around), I can't believe all they could come up with for the music was a beat Mike probably made in 5 minutes. I'm still not expecting anything from this album. It's still sad that they went from a record like THP (in which at least they pushed themselves musically) to making songs like this.
If there is one thing coming out of this album cycle, is that probably the entitled-tantrum making conglomerate will have probably fucked off by next album cycle and we won't have to put up with these eye-rolling comments then. We all appreciate criticism when it's well done, not like we've mostly seen it..
