Linkin Park Announces LPU Summits in New York and Texas

Linkin Park have just announced they'll be hosting Linkin Park Summits at two dates on their upcoming Carnivores Tour taking place this Summer in North America. The 10th and 11th LP Summits will coincide with the shows taking place on August 21st, 2014 at The Darien Center in New York and September 5th, 2014 at The Woodlands in Texas. The LPU Summit is a multi-activity event where LPU members from all over the world gather for an exclusive, intimate experience. Previous LPU Summits have taken place in London, Sydney, Chicago, Hamburg, Tokyo, Camden, Cape Town, Auckland and Hong Kong.

PAST SUMMIT ACTIVITIES HAVE INCLUDED:

-Meeting LINKIN PARK
-Watching LINKIN PARK warm up on stage before doors
-Backstage tours

-Raffle for a chance to watch part of the show from the side of the stage, take photos from the photo pit, join the band during the pre-show huddle and more
-Auction for signed and rare items like signed one-on-one photo with the band, LINKIN PARK award plaques, rare merchandise and more

Happy for the people of New York and Texas

 

I've never been to a summit. Missed the last one they had in Illinois, hoping for another!

 

So excited for the summit in Darien Does anyone know how quick the passes usually sell out?

 

If only I had an LPU Membership, and lived in southern Texas....

Get a job and a car. I have both and will probably be making the trip.

 

Do you always meet the band? And how fast do tickets usually sell out?

 

Is there an age limit? (I'm 15) And is it worth paying for the lpu membership and tickets? I live 4 hours away.

 

I'm wondering this too. I'm going to the Darien show and I think I should go to the summit but I want to make sure I'll definitely be able to meet the band and go back/onstage before I spend the $100

 

That's what I'm saying, I would have to travel 6 hours and if we don't meet the band I would be a little disappointed, or at least get up close to them

Awesome thanks. Roughly how many tickets are available/how quickly do they sell out usually? Should I start getting my hopes up yet?

 

I wanna know that too! I'm super excited but don't want to get my hopes up too high if there isn't a good chance. I'm still excited either way.

 

We have a very limited # of passes for sale.

For $90 you get about 8 hours behind the scenes, SUPER Meet & Greet, LPU Summit T-Shirt, Laminate, Special Gift, and the best part is you get to experience all this with awesome people.

The LPU Meetups in NY are $40 and that gets you a ticket to the theme park + BBQ + hang with the LP Touring Crew. (the theme park ticket alone cost $40 at the gate).
