I thought the art would be a little more reflective of the raw and heavy descriptions of the music in the album. I can see how it fits, being a hunter or whatever, but I see this modern and 3-D art fitting in closer with the more electronic albums like A Thousand Suns and Living Things. Still, cool piece. Honestly, I'm neutral about both the art and The Hunting Party as a name. Could be better, could be worse.
Fun fact: While that's true for Revolver, a lot of their most experimental and influential work came out after they had stopped touring in 1966. As for the whole album artwork thing, what we're really doing is entering into a debate about the nature of all art forms. And good luck sorting that out. Although I do find it funny how much more some people will love something if they just slap some kewl fire on it.
Maybe it was someone we heard was collaborating with Linkin Park, but it never materialized. Is Avicii considered a pop artist now?
Complaining about the name of a album by a band called "Linkin Park" is just silly. I couldn't care less. Bring on the songs! Oh, album cover is.. alright. Yeah.. Not even close.
YES the album artwork is so freaking aggressive and awesome, I bet this album is going to have lots of conceptual elements. On the hype train right now and for two more months!
I wonder when the tracklist/tracktimes is gonna pop up online. Anyone know when the other album tracklists appeared compared to the album release date?
