Those unable to immediately spend the money for whatever set, you'd probably be relieved to know that pre-ordering on Amazon doesn't charge your card until a few days before official release.
Pre-ordered on the Amazon thingy The only additional thing I would have wished for is the "Part of Me" demo (from the 8 tracks cd). Maybe also Fuse, since all other Xero tracks are there in some form. Beside that, great, great stuff.
aren't all the 'Xero' tracks done with vocals by chester though? Maybe he just never did vocals for that one
Bought the Deluxe bundle because I know I would regret it if I did not buy it. Don't even care how expensive it was.
In his Twitch stream today Mike explicitly stated that some tracks don't have Chester on them. It's presumed, then, that those have the original Mark Wakefield vocals.
Thank you. Seriously. That helps me a lot. Might be a sample issue like some of those other songs we're finally getting but they still couldn't clear this one. Fuse sampled a Disney release, which is probably a hell of a lot harder to clear than The High & Mighty (She Couldn't) or whatever Pictureboard actually samples. Remember when they couldn't get a clearance on THP because of Disney? I'd bet it's the same issue.
Ngl, as someone who already owns Reanimation and HT on vinyl, I can't really convince myself to drop $200 on the box set when I'm only interested in the EP, Forgotten Demos, and LPU rarities. I get why they arent selling those separately, but it's still disappointing nonetheless. On another note, I am happy that we're getting the Forgotten Demos and LPU rarities on streaming
I just ordered the Limited Edition Super Deluxe Box Set... RIP wallet... £161.48 including tracked postage (UK)... I HAD TO THOUGH. Can't download the song though, some issue with Warner Brother's website I assume. I can access it on Spotify though I also wonder if someone can help me? I am having a play on Mike Shinoda's PC but the password '4P7LYE' doesn't work. Any suggestions? You can pre-order those as a digital download. I get though, the physical copies would be nicer though.
I'm gonna go for the digital download to get ma' few new tracks, since I'm avoiding physical purchases as far as possible in general. Luckily, most of the live stuff seems to be on YT; isn't Fillmore the one they did the reaction video for? Does anybody know if the digital version from Warner's store is in losless format (FLAC?), or rather, has anyone ever purchased something digitally-only there? Also, I'm wondering if there's any remastering going on...
I've been told that all the demos have been newly mixed and mastered, possibly by Shinoda himself. Not sure about the EP EDIT:
Just pre-ordered the big anniversary box. Can't wait for this! This is how you do a proper 20th anniversary re-release.
I know it seems like I am just complaining all the time but I do wthink it woulda been cool if the Reanimation DVD-A had been included also
not even gonna front, I pre-ordered. I've been getting back into the band for the past few years and this is just a really good excuse to have all of these goodies. Reanimation is still a fuckin' banger.
Someone tell Mike "The Lizard" Shinoda on Twitter that I'm willing to sell my soul to the Illuminati for this.
Any ideas what the book might contain? Unused photgraphs from the album shoot? Unused art by Mike/Joe? Stories from back in the day? Infos about the recording sessions? Lyrics for every single song? All of the above?
I hope it’s like a normal coffee table book - high def photos, quality artwork, some good personal writings from the band and the people involved with the band. Reflection on Chester.
In honor of all the teenieboppers who used to frequent the community from 2000 through 2005, I hope the book is full of shirtless and risqué pictures of everyone in the band like centerfolds on a sexy calendar or magazine shoot.
