Linkin Park Announce Chester Bennington Tribute Show in Los Angeles on Oct. 27th

Crazy awesome guest list. Hoping for Corey Taylor and maybe some pop artists or something! Hopefully some of these performances carry over to TV award shows and such

 

Real talk, Oliver Sykes needs to sing on a Linkin Park song with the rest of the guys performing on stage. That would be epic and I feel like there is a few of their older songs he could nail.

Would love to hear Jonathan Davis do One Step Closer as well.

If this isn't streamed I am hoping out for some of you guys to record it

 

I think they'll stream it or record and release a blu ray with proceeds benefitting the One More Light Fund. The demand from all the fans worldwide is unprecedented.

 

Not sure if anyone said this before but I really hope this gets filmed and released as a CD/DVD like Live in Texas and Road to Revolution. Someone in the band's camp needs to mention this to them because it wouldn't surprise me if they hadn't thought about this with all that is going on.

Oli Sykes could literally sing any of the old school Linkin Park songs. Their song Throne is a Faint copy and That's The Spirit in a lot of places sounds like a modernized Meteoa mixed with some metalcore elements.

 

I wonder how many songs they are going to play from each album. I can totally see M shadows, Skyes, the guys from SOAD do the old stuff and the hunting party.

Why is there so much doubt and panic amongst this thread that it won't be streamed lol. Linkin Park are not stupid you guys, it will obviously be streamed online

 

I am excited for this concert. Of course it's sad that Chester isn't with us anymore, but I'm happy to see so many artists reuniting to honor him (many of them I still listen to this day). It's gonna be beautiful, Chester would be proud and really happy about that.

 

Now here brings up another question, are they just going to perform LP songs or other songs related to Chester as well?

I'm really liking the list of bands and artists named so far, looks like it's going to be the perfect was to honour Chester and everything he brought to the music world. I'm really looking forward to this show and can't wait to hear more announcements soon!

My girlfriend also kindly ordered me the Limited Edition hoodie that the band is selling in support of the special concert, , which I will be given for Christmas, which I am ecstatic about.

 

I really can´t wait for the show! I´m from Germany so I have the really big hope that it will be streamed or there´s a DVD coming!

I also hope it will be live streamed as there is no way on earth I can make it there. Awesome guest list I feel. I would be lying if I didn't hope that some of these artists collaborated with LP (again)
