I am not listening to any more "leaks", I am not even going to listen to any of the other songs released again until I listen to the album in full. I am leaving for Download Festival on Wednesday and will be seeing the band on Saturday. I will arrive home on the Monday which is the album release day here in England when I shall buy the CD and listen to the album for the first time. Something awesome to listen to when I get home.
Did you even read the post? Joe never said there'd be a leak today. Chester did. On Twitter. Reading comprehension, folks.
Low quality to me is the potato rip, the quality of this is perfect, like MTV's Final masquerade, don't pay attention to that "low q" bullshit. The chorus reminds me of shitty nu metal bands from the 2000. I thought of fucking fred durst when i heard mike, I like Page's voice but don't really dig the song yet. Need Mark the Graves.
I'm not going to listen to it. I shouldn't have listened to FM too. I'm not going to listen to any of the songs released until the full album is out. I just want to hear the full thing now.
Agreed, I don't like how he mentions there still being "shades of A Thousand Suns" as though it's some diseased thing
Yet another example of "ATS sucked, LT was a return to form." When I say the LPA doesn't represent the average opinion about those albums I wasn't lying. ON TOPIC: I don't know what to make of the song yet. Of all the songs they released so far this is the one that left me more baffled.
It's a zippyshare link. And for those of you who are wondering, it's not potato, but it skips as if listening from a stream.
I really like it. They could have made it another wastelands type song but they didn't. Chester's vocals are 80s metal style, mikes rap is more underground hip hop, and Paige adds a new element.
I wouldn't call it traces of "A Thousand Suns". There's a little interlude at the end with a conversation between Brad and Mike over spacey guitars and pads. Something about "that's the heavy shit" or something lol.
to be honest, I love Mike's rapping and Page's Chorus. And that ending though, "Put the Heavy shit there"
