They opened at # 23 two weeks ago.

This is what happens when a band already on a decline releases a seven-track album at full price, with no press, no advertising and no lead single or video.

Fred Durst is trying too hard, and failing, at being "epic".

I really think the new album sucks! I bought it on the release date and even though I'd lv to say it waz worth it, it wasn't. I was really pissed off when I found out it had only 7 tracks on it. All this waiting and thats it. I'm sorry its just not on. You used to be kool LB but now u just suck!

Yeah Limp, as much as you sucked before, now you suck so much that all your fans who can't spell cool correctly hate you!

The joys of the internet and downloading the album a week before it comes out.

    Le sigh.

Honestly, what do you people expect? Hasn't every Limp Bizkit album differed from the previous album? I mean, that shows experimentation, They could easily just go back to their "Significant Other" days, but they didn't. If they did, all of us would have been like "Oh god, they're going back to the formula that worked best for them, what sell outs". Nothing ever makes fans happy, people just need to stop bitching, it was supposed to be a 7 Track EP and there is going to be another EP released later this year. Fred Durst himself said that The CD is overpriced and they tried to bring it out as an EP under an EP pricing but its up to the stores on what they charge.

I don't think the CD is that great but at least they had the balls to change who they are as a band. They took a risk, which is more than you can say for a lot of bands out nowadays.

Well personally, I think that, other than Durst, the band is okay. When Durst speaks, it's like my ears have been raped.

    Personal preference, sorry.

Fred got too cocky and thinks he's better than everyone else and thinks his CD is the best out there. But this time, no one fell for that shit.

That's because Metallica was the greatest band in the world until 1991. MoP is the best metal album ever, IMO.

But yah i agree with Todd and Casey. Fred thinks that he is the shit and always will be the shit. He thinks he has a household name that will sell anything. But in short alot of LB fans back in the day were in fact "teenies" and today 'teenies' view simplae plan and good charlotte as the new cool and hip thing. I dont believe that he had a very huge fan base after all the teenies anyhow, if so i'm guessing he lost alot of them with the last record.

He was even in the chatroom a few weeks ago.

But ontopic, I think the record is great. Its just really short, but in a couple months there will be part 2 so i'm cool with that.

cooljelly: Dont you read on the back how many tracks it has or something? I usually do that. It couldve been a single.

Who do you think buys Linkin Park's albums?

Those kids who listened to Limp Bizkit (among other nu-metal bands) are listenning to emo and metalcore now. I don't know why people think those bands aren't controlled by the label too.

Perhaps Limp Bizkit should change their name, to try get that "LB" effect off them. If they want to go the extreme, they could kick out Fred Durst and put someone with more talent.
