on the official rock am ring website limp bizkit gets advertised of being there with their ORIGINAL line-up. i don't think they would make that up! there are even two more russian dates rumoured about the same time (end of may). as soon as i read these news on saturday, i immediately ordered my ticket for rock am ring. seeing limp bizkit perform with wes is kinda a dream for me, as they got me into rock before linkin park followed this path in late 2000. i don't give a fuck about bad lyrics or simple music, they rock, they are energetic live and im really looking forward to see them perform. it seems, that rock am ring/rock im park will be great festivals this year!!!
Source: http://www.nme.com/news/limp-bizkit/42710 Looks like Wes might really be back after all. I don't know how accurate NME tends to be with this kind of news.
This doesn't mean the band is reforming, does it? Edit: Oh my bad I didn't read that other article where they talked about recording a new album.
well, if you take the statement above it means at least they will be together for a while. tour and album will last for 1 year. i dont count on the album thing, but as long as i can see them at RaR, im a happy man
"Fred Durst, Wes Borland, Sam Rivers, John Otto and DJ Lethal have joined forces once again to tour and record a new album." Again, it could be false, but the article insinuates a new tour and album.
I'll be interested to see how their new stuff is going to sound. If it's anything like; Build A Bridge, My Way, Lean On Me, Down Another Day & Boiler then it might actually be good. I find that all their stuff is a bit hit & miss. They have half good songs, then the other half is just shit. So we'll see.
