i get that... the songs don't flow as completely as hybrid theory did and the style of it is so different, i love the album, not as much as meteora but still love it, but i have that feeling ATS will flow much better like Meteora and HT and will probably outshine MTM :sweating:

For me Meteora is the best Album from LP. "Hit the Floor" is amazing.

Yay!!! I scored the Meteora vinyl at the local record shop the other day. I was totally surprised to see it, as it is kinda rare these days I think.

Meteora is my favorite album. Dont say because I am stuck in the nu-metal age, I like MTM, but I think Meteora is there best. It is the only album I can listen to all the way through without skipping. People say its HT part two but its completely different. Sure its rap/rock but they evolved there sound. It wasnt so grungy it had more electronic beat to it. SIB was amazing rap/rock collab, breaking the habit was a good experimental song that came out amazing, and Numb is my favorite. I wish LP would have continued there music making like they did with meteora. Not try to copy it but improve there original sound and make it better and different. Ht was lets let out a new sound to introduce ourselves. Meteora was holy shit we have something to prove to our fans and ourselves we werent a fluke so lets go for a personal best. MTM was eh we are the biggest rock band so lets reboot are sound and try to create something different. Thats why in my opinion Meteora was the best because it was the only album they put everything they had into to prove something.

The funny part about people saying Meteora is out on it's own from Hybrid Theory and isn't a sequel is that the band themselves say it's a part 2.

And when talking about the band, it's their, not their.

    It's theirs, Little Johnny.
    It's over there, Little Johnny.
They're going to the toy store Little Johnny, not you.

lol yes I know thay but in the making video they say its different, but like you said in the interviews now they say its part 2. But i believe they call it "part 2" is so that they can have it as a excuse to say thats why they changed or a reason to. Because in 03/04 they would have never said they were trying to create another HT and it was something similar but different

Or maybe it is just because they're pretty similar.

It's going to be interesting to see if A Thousand Suns can top this album in my opinion. This album has been the pinnacle of my music listening for seven years now, I'm excited to see if Linkin Park can top it.

I have no doubt this will be better than Minutes To Midnight.
