    Side note: not only is White Plains my hometown, but I've worked in that hospital, too.

    Amazing gentleman. As a musician myself, such a loss is deeply felt and I know his guitars and his impact will be around for a while. Rest in peace.

    Yeah, I'm sorry, but Paul's death is vastly more important to music than Michael Jackson's. You can say so and so wouldn't be around without MJ, but Les Paul basically invented the damn electric guitar.

    as sad as his death is
    at least the man lived a long fullfilling life
    he is truly legend
    and he will be missed

    Most MJ songs are played on Les Paul anyway. Or a lot anyway.

    I own a Les Paul, awesome, awesome guitar.
