Korn- new album A (hopefully rough cut) leak of a new Korn song is floating around now. YouTube keeps pulling it, so hopefully this still works. I hate it. A lot. It's like sub-TALITM. It's that bad to me. What do you think?
I really don't see anything bad with it. I actually like it, to be honest. I hear some old KoRn, and some new KoRn, which is good. The drumming is kind of eh, and I really with Dave would come back to the band. I think what a lot of KoRn fans have a problem with (I'm looking at the ones that were around for their first four albums) is that they're expecting the sound that KoRn had in the beginning, and they need to realize it isn't 1998 anymore. That musical movement is gone, so the band isn't going to sound the same. It's happened with Metallica, Linkin Park, and every other band out there. Now this song doesn't sound mainstream at all, and it's definitely going in the right direction for the band, in my opinion, it just needs some work. The drumming in the last 20 seconds or so needs to go.
This is just my personal view, and not meant to be a slight against KoRn or other people's musical tastes in anyway, but: I feel KoRn passed their prime after the whole drama with head took place. I know some people still like them, and I respect that, but I haven't taken an active interest in them since Take A Look In The Mirror. And that's a shame because I used to buy EVERY KoRn album that came out.
Yeah, I thought their last album was terrible and this doesn't seem much better. They aren't really my thing these days anyway though.
love the video, like the song except for the end, and love the bridge! sounds pretty old schoolish to me?!
Although I can't stand anything they put since Untouchables (except Love Song, that I love ) , I think this is not so bad.
Not bad, not good - like most KoRn since Untouchables. Having said that Did My Time, Right Now, Twisted Transistor and Coming Undone are some of my favourite KoRn songs and they were all released after Untouchables.
Meh...I don't really know what to think. It isn't terrible but it's far from great. I'm finding it difficult to call it good even. Such a crying shame. And was I the only one to enjoy their last album?
No, I liked it quite a bit. Anyway I'm one of the few fans that wasn't clamoring for Korn to go back to the self-titled sound. They tried the exact same thing with Take a Look in the Mirror and that album, to me, was a total disaster. Far worse than the evidently hated by all Untitled and See You On The Other Side.
not bad...sounds like a typical Korn song.. not anything ground shaking but still has the diffrent vibe. Korn will always be Korn... saw them live last may and was a damn good show...even with just the 3 main members. looking forward to the new stuff.
If anything, it's a single song and liable to change. It might not even be on the next album. I just hope it isn't what the album is going to be like. I would sorely be disappointed.
Korn are a great band but this song didn't do much for me. And it was only Jonathan Davis I'm concerned about. The melodies he's had lately are very good and it's disappointing to hear him sounding like this. However I don't think the album will be a complete disappointment. I'm still excited.
The track doesn't hold a firm grip on the listener I feel, but when the song reaches it's slow points, it's pretty damn entrancing in classic Korn fashion. I'm positive the final version of this track will prove to be much better.
This sound was super awesome like 15 years ago. I still hold a special place for it in my memory. It's certainly something far less than groundbreaking now, though. Korn has turned into a band that I listen to the hopefully overproduced singles and don't care much about the rest.
Hey guys guess what. The new Korn single is out. http://www.roadrunnerrecords.co.uk/page/News?news_id=93592 Guess what else. It blows.
