Peter Jackson (Lord of the Rings trilogy) is directing a remake of King Kong due out December 14th. The film stars Naomi Watts, Jack Black, Thomas Kretschmann, Colin Hanks, Andy Serkis (as two characters, one of them being King Kong) and Adrien Brody. Click here The trailer looks pretty good, though I'm still loading it on dial up.
It looks pretty good. I'll probably end up watching it, i usually do. I don't know what to make of the Jurrasic Park style elements though.
Looks cool. I've got great expectations from Peter Jackson ever since he did so well with directing LOTR. The cast for this film is pretty solid, so this movie looks good.
If you wait a minute it comes up ont he Volkswagen site. "Watch The Trailer" and "More About King Kong".
Same here [/b][/quote] if you wait for it to load, then it'll show the trailer. Patience children. There seems to be more action scenes than you can shake a stick at. I hope it turns out okay. I'll have to watch the original before seeing this.
Jack Black in a serious role? Sweet! edit - Fucking shit Peter Jackson, what's with all the CGI and Greenscreening? fuck! This movie looks waaayyy too overdone. Old ass Jackson films were better when he did his cheap special effects that really looked real (dead alive, bad taste... etc)
It looks pretty good! I didn't see Dinosaurs coming, though. But then again, I didn't see the original either so I don't know if they're in that either. I'm inclined to say no.
I just saw a trailer for it before War of the Worlds tonight, and wow. I will definitely be seeing this. Looks like a typical Jackson movie too.
Me too. Great cast. Great cast. Great cast. I'll surely see it when it comes out. I would honestly go gay for Adrien Brody, I would.
