http://www.kazaaplatinum.com This looks like an enticing deal. But is it legit? Is this from Sherman Networks (the company that created the original KaZaA) ? For $0.99 a month, this is great! What do you guys think?
See, the thing is, on this KaZaA Platinum site, they don't mention Sherman Networks anywhere...that's what has me jumpy about signing up...
Well I couldn't tell you because I can't access it, it keeps going to Google. But Kazaa Lite isn't made by Sharman Networks either.
I wouldn't sign up for anything like that - at $.99 a month I'm not sure how legal all of those movies and DVDs are. Maybe it's one of those desperate attempts to gain users after all of this suing and lawsuits going on.
I don't think that Kazaa is getting sued, it's just the users. I mean, they can't actually sue Kazaa because Kazaa hasn't done anything wrong. The rules that it has state that you can't share illegal files, and it's your problem if you get caught.
Well, if KaZaA Platinum was made by a company other than Sherman Networks, are they allowed to do that? Did they have to ask Sherman Networks first?
If you guys don't wanna get busted, don't be stupid-heads and keep your files in your "shared folder;" move 'em.
I already moved all my files when I first got Kazaa Lite without knowing that they won't get you if you move all your files to another folder. I saw this "Kazaa Platinum" thing like a month ago. The bad thing is the is not free. So I'm not bothering downloading and/or paying a cent for this. I'm very happy with the new version of Kazaa Lite (Version 2.4.1.) I got the other day.
I don't think so. If y'all want the new version then click here and click on Downloads>Kazaa Lite. Thhen click on the first download.
k lite rocks the other one just slows down ur pc like damn donkey cart wit heavy pop up bombardment id say stick to k lite :?:
