Kazaa Lite?

    Does anyone that has Kazaa lite have this problem- I download a song and about 14 seconds into it, the song is messed up and goes BUZZ!!!!! really annoying... anyone else have this happen to them? :unsure:

    Yeah, it did that to me. Not really any fix to it, I don't believe. I just moved to a different P2P software.

    people just mess with the songs and distort them to annoy people.
    Happens to me all the time

    What are you talking about? Of course it's KaZaA Lite's fault! They always mess up MP3 files! [/sarcasm]

    It's the RIAA sharing corruped files. You can lower your chances of getting corrupted files by changing your maximum download connections to 2 or 3.

    heres some advice:

    1. look up the song your going to download on the internet and check how long it is (i.e. 4:05) i suggest http://entertainment.msn.com

    2. if you it says how long the downloads are then just find the one with the matching time. mine used to have it but its gone now (im not sure why) if it doesnt, just choose one

    3. then go to traffic and press play until the time shows up on the bottom and if the time is the same then you have a non-tampered with song.

    The problem is that you downloaded a corrupted file placed their by the band's record company. Good luck finding an un-corrupted file.
