Kanye's Love Lockdown

I liked the song until the chorus came in. Way to disappoint me, Kanye.

 

Surely this is a demo. The live version is way better.

I'm disappointed with the chorus as well. Weak.

Probably not one of his better tracks. Sounds like a Timbaland cast-off.

 

It would sound a lot better if the chorus was distinguishable. The autotune is jumbling the words. Theres no doubt the live version was better.

 

I don't think I could stand an album full of those vocals, which unfortunately seems to be what he's going for.

I dont like him, I dont like his music, so naturally I dont like this song. I dont know what exactly turns me off about him, but man oh man - hes getting on my last nerve lol.

 

I think it's pretty much confirmed the one posted on his blog isn't a properly mixed or finalized version of the song.

 

I really wish this whole autotuned vocals craze in pop music would hurry up and die already.

I thought the song had potential when I saw it on the VMAs, and I was glad Kanye actually sang the vocals live, although it did show that he's not the world's best singer. The vocals on the studio cut just sound like complete garbage though...as does any kind of non-techno music using that kind of vocal effect. It's annoying as hell.

Kanye posted on his blog that they re-recorded the song and used different drums and changed the vocals. He also said that he doesn't care if you don't like Autotune because he has been using it since College Dropout and he likes it.

 

Kanye is my hero.
