Well, it had massive potential, but I think they really screwed it up by just making Kanye just dance around everywhere instead of making him do something, well, interesting. Athough I am a fan of torn-up models for visual effect like the one at the 1:50 mark in the video! Too bad they limited it to what it is. Also WHAT IS UP WITH THE WHITE TRIANGLES ON THE SIDES? Yep, it is the new mix. It's the mix of the song that was performed on Saturday Night Live a while back.
Yeah, but the screams are different, and when he performed it on SNL, the song didn't have the bass drop in the chorus. It was just drums. This one has both. And I really love it. Where did you get it?
allaccess.com, but you need to be a member. Even then you can't directly get the promos, but if you sneak around the site and find stuff like embedded emails and promotions, you can knock off a few digital promos like I did. It's an entire website dedicated to the US radio industry. It's how I find out the new singles and who's releasing new material and whatnot.
Black Skinhead shouldn't even be a fuckin' single, it should have been Hold My Liquor. That song is dope.
Official video for Black Skinhead (now renamed BLKKK SKKKN HEAD for the video) is now available at kanyewest.com. Weirdest video I've ever seen.
If Kanye West was actually in the video it would have been better. Regardless I liked it. Weird as shit but really not bad. Oh, and the website actually wasn't working correctly for me; the video was playing really slow. If anyone has that problem, it's on Youtube here.
Double click on the screen, Instagram pop up will show up. The speed is probably low. Just drag the button to the right. In other news, this album is pure perfection. 10/10
Is Lupe Fiasco one of the background vocalists who raps the first verse of Black Skinhead? It kinda sounds like him.
The first line: ''For my theme song.'' is said by Lupe. Also, the disorted vocal that says ''black'' throughout the verse.
