Kanye West - Yeezus

Anybody here a Kanye West fan? His new album is entitled Yeezus. It will be released on June 18, 2013 in North America (and if we are to believe in industry standards,
June 14, 2013 in Australia!) and will be the follow up to 2010's My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, one of my favorite albums ever. Young Chop, Chief Keef, Travi$ Scott, King L, Pusha T and
Daft Punk have been confirmed to appear on the record.

Lead Single "New Slaves" was premiered on city streets across the globe, and will be released later this week.

Another track, "Black Skinhead", was also performed on NBC's Saturday Night Live.​

 

Fucking love Kanye. Super excited for this. Actually watching him on SNL now.

This must have been the "primal" song Daft Punk mentioned. I'm really loving these two songs.

Damn Black Skinhead goes fucking hard. Don't really care for New Slave though.

 

I'm going to bet my house that the tags displayed in the visuals are the names of some tracks on Yeezus. I'm fucking calling it!

I knew one day, someone would put Manson's horrible music to good use. Good for you, Kanye.

 

Black Skinhead = YES YES YES. I love that industrial feel. And it's a really different live setup than you would usually see from a rapper.

Anyway, love New Slaves, gonna check out the other one now.

 

Loved the two new songs he did. Badass.

 

Kanye always finds ways to make his production new and interesting. This is no different.

But calling the album Yeezus? Talk about self indulgence. I really sometimes hate him for shit like that.

 

I don't really like the way he's portrayed (or rather, he's portraying himself) in the media but he's an amazing producer. Can't wait for HESUS

Is there a studio version of New Slaves? Or just the live performances (I mean, the projections)? I can't find the studio version on YT.

 

Studio version should be out on iTunes on tuesday if I'm not mistaken.

 

REALLY wanna hear the proper version of Black Skinhead.... sounds like a fucking riot! Reminds me a bit of Lupe's Japanese Cartoon.
