Just another day. For a moment you twitch and look around, The silence is looming over the sound, And the people seem lesser than they usually are, And the loneliness grows over and far. Then you grab your bag and hold on tight, You look up and the moon’s alight, You look across, and the people aren’t there, You close your eyes, its okay; You swear… Things will never be what they are, unless you wanna change it, And troubles come and go, and you’ve gotta face them, People never know what you are going through, But what matters most to me my love, is what matters to you. Then your eyes open, and the sun is shining, The park is vivid, not a kid is crying, And the joy, you feel it strike a chord, You have no reason you think, left to sob. The people gather and they’re looking at you, And you don’t seem to mind what they are thinking too, And now you think you begin to care, Just when it all ends, And you swear… Things will never be what they are, unless you wanna change it, And troubles come and go, and you’ve gotta face them, People never know what you are going through, But what matters most to me my love, is what matters to you. So hold on tighter for yet another day, The sun will rise, and the moon will stay, But it’s only for a while you’re scared, It’s only for a while you’re scared, ‘cause you swear… Things will never be what they are, unless you wanna change it, And troubles come and go, and you’ve gotta face them, People never know what you are going through, But what matters most to me my love, is what matters to you. dedicated to marj, jay, ori, and all my friends and family who have always been there for me.
It's just beautiful. I'm really thankful <3 Just like I told you before, it's the most beautiful poem/song I've heard before.
"People never know what you are going through, But what matters most to me my love, is what matters to you." I love that part. Overall great piece, sorrowful yet uplifting. "So hold on tighter for yet another day, The sun will rise, and the moon will stay," That part also gripped me as just really well written. Great piece.
