Continuing forward on this European leg of touring leading up to the release of The Hunting Party, the band is set to play as headline performers tomorrow night, June 7, 2014 in Germany for Rock am Ring 2014 - joining the likes of Nine Inch Nails, The Offspring, Iron Maiden, Queens of the Stone Age, and more spread across four days - concluding on June 8th. This will be the band's first time playing the show since 2012, when they in similar fashion kicked off the release of LIVING THINGS with a European leg. The band is not new to Rock Am Ring, having played the show five times since 2001 following the debut of Hybrid Theory. Coming off of their performance in Poland, it remains to be seen whether or not the band will seek to premiere any other songs off of their highly anticipated new record. Will "Rebellion," which premiered only a few days ago on BBC 1 Radio, join the likes of "Wastelands," "Until It's Gone," and "Guilty All the Same?" Seeing as the band has paced and surprised us with new songs on a regular basis, it is not out of the question! As the band gears up for their upcoming performance of Hybrid Theory at the Download Festival, could we see more from their debut in the setlist? A live steam of the event can be found here. The band is expected to perform at 22:35 CEST (4:55 PM ET, 1:55 PM PT), so be sure to catch them on those times! Upon finishing up Rock am Ring, the band will move on the next day to perform at Rock Im Park! Are you going to Rock Am Ring? Share your thoughts and discuss this show on our forums! We will update this thread to include any additional streams and the setlist.
Hope i can watch it tomorrow with my friends I doubt that they will change anything in the setlist (also if this is the last Time Rock am Ring there). But i like surprises
I can't go to rock am ring but i live in germany and in germany the whole festival is live on tv so i will watch the linkin park show on tv About rebellion: mike said they won't play rebellion live in this europe tour because they don't have the time to rehearse it
Last Rock am Ring at Nürburgring. They played one of my favorite LP concerts there in 2004. All these awesome interludes, fantastic crowd, the band was on fire. So come on LP, time for a last groundbreaking performance in Nürburg =) If anyone is interested, pro shot of the show: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IH35NdyfZ5s
I'll be there tomorrow. First volunteering for Music For Relief, then LPU m&g and then watching a show. Lots of fun, me gusta!
Rebellion will not be performed live for sure, Mike said that they did not rehearse it. Can't wait for this stream tommorow night, always a great listen
And for that matter, why isn't Tony's username "Final Minuterade"? Hoping for Rebellion's live debut is a bit of a stretch, but I'm hoping anyway.
