Update: Linkin Park's full performance from last night's Jimmy Kimmel! Live show can now be played on YouTube. Their setlist included three tracks from The Hunting Party: Until It's Gone, Wastelands, and Guilty All The Same. Watch the performances below: Linkin Park will appear on Jimmy Kimmel for the fourth time on June 19th. This after 2003, 2007 and 2012. Mike and Chester also joined Steve Aoki on the show on November 23rd, 2013. The band was orginally booked to play at the normal venue, but that ended up being cancelled. Instead the band recorded some special songs at the iHeart venue for the same audience. Last time the full band appeared on Jimmy Kimmel was on June 27th, 2012 in promotion of Living Things. At that show the band performed BURN IT DOWN and LIES GREED MISERY. Check out the video of LIES GREED MISERY below. Last night the band played a release show for The Hunting Party at the iHeartRadio Theater, they played a 60 minute set and had a short Q&A. The band switched up the setlist for this show, having BURN IT DOWN open it's first show ever. It's also the first show on this cycle not to have Guilty All The Same in the setlist, though technically they performed it for the same audience as it was recorded for this show. The show was live streamed so there's plenty of recordings on YouTube. This is the last confirmed show for the band for over a month. The next show is on July 24th when the band will play the first ever mtvU Fandom Awards at Comic-Con. After that they kick off The Carnivores Tour with 30 Seconds To Mars and AFI on August 8th. We already know the setlist due to the tapings happening last night, though we're not sure if all three will be aired tonight. You can view the songs below. Setlist: Until It's Gone Wastelands Guilty All the Same Come and discuss in our forums.
Imma be pissed if they play anything new. It's pretty insulting to play something new in front of a random audience when just hours before, they denied it in their own release party with their hardcore fans there or watching online.
I was at the show, they recorded for Jimmy Kimmel Live right after the iheartradio set, Until It's Gone, Wastelands, Guilty All The Same. So I got to see Until It's Gone and Wastelands twice in one night.
Poor Brad has to abandon his guitar for LGM. As a compensation he will be allowed to play guitar a lot in this cycle.
Actually, Kevin, they played a full set in Kimmel. Only LGM and Burn It Down aired on TV. Betting that Wastelands or Until It's Gone will be aired.
Actually, here is what they played I'm hesitant to call that a full set, which is why I didn't include it in the post.
Not really related to this show but I can't wait to see the set list for the Carnivores Tour. I'm hoping they add more songs from THP.
Final Masquerade begs to be played live. I would be surprised if they didn't. I'm pretty positive A Line in the Sand will never be played live though. I feel like there's too much going on for them to be comfortable with.
IMO ALITS would make a pretty horrible live song, it's not that good to begin with anyway. On the other hand Mark the Graves would make an excellent "last song of set" in replacement of Bleed it Out, which is getting a bit stale as an outro song to me.
