Following the release of their brand new album "The Hunting Party", Linkin Park will be performing at the iHeartRadio Theater in Burbank, California on June 18th, 2014. The show will be the release event for the new album and will consist of a 60 minute set, as well as a Q&A where the band will answer fan questions. Best of all it will all be live streamed, details of which are below. Linkin Park live at iHeartRadio Theater 7PM PDT | 10PM EDT | 3AM BST Event Countdown This show follows the band's performance at the Red Bull Sound Space stage a day earlier on June 17th, 2014 with KROQ, where they performed a short ten song set and answered a few questions. That show is repeating for 24 hours and can be watched here. Expect the same deal with this performance and even though the inclusion of a new song or two from The Hunting Party probably won't happen, I guess you never know. Let us know if you'll be tuning in and what you'd like to see performed at this show on the LPA Forums.
I hope they will play Drawbar/Final Masquerade. I hope they will show the THP making of.. just like what they did last 2007 during MTM at NYC, Webster Hall.
THIS!!!! I'm like dying to see a Making of for this album man! No one seems to know or have shared that there will be one. I love the making of's...Always so interesting to see the process and the beginning and end of how songs came to be. If somebody knows if there will be one or if its coming, I beg of you, speak!
Phoenix was wearing a NASA shirt during the red bull performance!!!!! (My parents both work for NASA)
Well, yeah, no information about a possible documentary has surfaced aside from the band members saying that the entire process was filmed. A reasonable assumption is that, at the very least, we'll get some LPTV episodes consisting of some of that footage in the coming months.
Your parents work for NASA? That's awesome! Anyway, hoping to catch this live, but I might not be able to.
iHeart Radio release parties usually have debuts of 1 or 2 new songs, along with a few old hits and interviews. Then again, the last iHeart Radio release party I watched was Justin Timberlake.
So... I just broke up with my girlfriend, I'm new to LA, and after calling ALT 98.7 dozens of times over the last couple weeks, to no avail, I finally went all in, emailed iHeartRadio, briefly told them my life's story, and crossed my fingers. 3 minutes later, they responded. "The music will help you heal," they said. "Bring a friend and rock out," they said. I have 2 tickets for the show tonight. I don't have someone to go with. First order of business is the fact that, while I work nearby, I do work late, so I won't be able to get there much before 6 PT (doors open at 6). If you're willing and able to go early and wait in line for a few hours, that's +1. If you live near enough to Burbank and you like making new friends, that's +1. If you're a girl and you're even remotely near my age (23), that's +2. lol This morning, I was miserable. Right now, I'm really happy. Just looking to share that happiness with someone and maybe make a friend in the process. Message me if you're interested.
http://news.iheart.com/iplaylist/artist/447095 The announcer lady said LP are about to play any minute and that after they stop do not go anywhere as they're gonna play for Kimmel and iHeart is going to broadcast that also.
