By myself sounded really good. Chesters voice really was on top form, his screams sounded great. It was just like being in 2001 again, including by myself. Totally amazing show, best I've seen LP in a long long time. As others said, thp songs made most people just kinda stand there going 'huh?' Apart from the few of us who sang along to them. So lucky I got to witness this legendary show, forever in my memory
Best show I ever been too worth the 10 hours wait and why does all of the other band sound like crap. My sis rec some of runaway trying to get her to give me it
I got back from Download late last night and the Hybrid Theory performance felt perfect to me. All the songs sounded top notch, and the crowd were going wild around me the whole time. Before they came on people around me were debating what they were going to start with, assuming they would start with some "electronic stuff' then go onto Hybrid Theory. Unfortunately act two did kill the crowd, and was a shame they didn't play Faint after Numb. I personally prefer crowd pleasers when I'm at a festival. Overall though was well worth the trip and will never forget it
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=11x-xEkOQho By Myself. So much nostalgia, really nice performace. Mike forgot the lyrics on the start of second verse but that's ok. haha
The screams are even more brutal than those in 2001-2003 period. Haha, in your face fuckers who say that Chester can't scream like he did before.
Would've been cool if they'd had Phoenix and maybe Hahn do some of the backing vocals that the band had never been able to do live in the past
I was referring to how the band had members other than Shinoda and Chester perform live backing vocals starting in 2007 when Phoenix sang during live performances of "Little Things". More recently, Phoenix, Delson and Hahn all sing backing parts on songs from "A Thousand Suns" and "Living Things", both live and, in some cases, on the studio recordings too. So, given that, I think that it would've been cool to have Phoenix harmonise with Chester during the ending sections in "Papercut", for example, or during the bridge in "Forgotten". Occasionally during the last couple of tours, Phoenix sang along with Shinoda on the outro of "What I've Done", so that kind of thing has been done before
