This year I attended the JrNYLC, a conference made to teach middle school children how to be a leader. It was a pretty fun time, considering you could do pretty much anything. But what sucked was you had to be up at like 6:30 every morning. It was totally bad, there were a lot of cool people there. And of course the usual mischief. . .
Oh.. a leadership congress? I was able to attend 2 leadership congress. Well, yeah it's cool to really meet different people around our country. What sucks is that we have to sleep kinda late and wake up very early. My friends and I took our bath in the evening at around 11- 12 midnight when almost everyone is already asleep. The nun was at the first floor while we were occupying the second. we had top crawl to get to the room or else we'll get caught doing something in the middle of the night. Well, it's not really illegal. We just avoided interrogations. We did it because in the morning, everyone is rushing to the bathroom until the morning rites. We don't want to be late for that. It's shameful to be late.
Exactly how this one was. They had us up till 10:30, then of course you gotta talk to your roomies, and then you end up going to bed at 11-12 o clock, and then get up at 5:30-6:30 the next day. But it was pretty cool. Just have to think a lot. Oh, and for you who said it would be cool, and that you were going into middle school, for more info go to Congressional Youth Leadership Council.
