I finally bought Streetcore by Joe Strummer (RIP) and the Mescaleros, and let me say it is very good. It's a lot mellower then what I usually listen to, but there's traces of the Clash all over the place.

I would describe the album as mostly a mix of folk, jazz, country and Clash-style punk (obviously), but Mr. Strummer was a very creative guy.

Everyone check out "All In A Day," "Burnin' Streets" and "Coma Girl." His cover of Bob Marley's "Redemption Song" is great as well.

    Anyone else have it?

I was considering buying it. Thanks for the insight into the album, I think I'm going to buy it now. :) I've loved the Clash for a while now.
