Joe Hahn Rolling Stone Interview

Great interview! I'm gonna go ahead and presume that the next record won't be out until second quarter of 2015. Whoo, it is going to be a long wait.

 

I wonder when this interview took place.

 

Couldn't have been that long ago, as RECHARGED was mentioned. Maybe within a month or two.

 

Don't they say it in the article? They met up with him at Suru for the LP edition of those Transformer toys.

 

I must have missed that. How long ago was that?

My life has just been enhanced.

 

I'm gonna go with late 2014 or the first quarter of 2015... Once Chester is done touring with STP, I don't think that they'll be working on something else beside LP6 (assuming that The Mall soundtrack is already finished)...

 

The way Joe talked about Mall in the interview makes it sound like it's already done and they're just shopping it around for a distribution deal. So yeah, I'd assume the soundtrack is done and just "sitting on the back burner" for whenever the movie finally comes out.

 

I hope Mall is accepted into a festival, I just mainly want to hear about what people think of the music but I kind of want to see the movie a lot too.
