Ah, crap. I've never heard Jordan's work before, but he must be good to take over from Jesse.

Yeah. Cool dude, and fucking great drummer.

I pretty much hate Jersey, but it will be interesting to see how Jordan does.

I'm seeing these guys in 10 days. It's going to be freaking sweet.

I wonder how Jordan will perform. Jesse is a kickass drummer.

    you'll have to tell us.
I wonder if it will change the feel of the band when they play. It probly won't be as bad once they make a new album but playing songs from the old album, it just might not be right. although, soundwise it might not change at all, we'll have to wait and see.

I saw them last night. It was absolutely incredible! One of the best nights of my life.

I got there about two hours before the doors opened so I could get a good vantage spot in the pit. They had this platform before the rails that was about 3x10 feet large, and I managed to get my way onto it with about 30 other people. 800 people were packed into one small curling rink. It was so hot, I was already sweaty and tired before the first band started playing!

The opening bands started playing an hour after the doors opened. They were local bands named Children of Eve and Beaumont Hamel. Children of Eve was a very The Used-esque band with an amazing drummer and singer. The second band wasn't as good, but the vocalist didn't sing one note the whole thirty minutes, he just screamed everything. He was awesome.

So about 15 minutes after Beaumont Hamel stopped playing, Dallas came out on stage to check his gear and prepare. My friend started chanting his name and soon everyone joined in. Then, while Dallas was testing his pedals, he yelled "Dallas Green is a sex machine!" and he looked up and smiled at us. It was awesome! We were second row, too, so the band could hear everything we were saying.

Eventually, the band came out and started the show off with "Accidents". From the first two or three notes, everyone recognized the song and mosh pits immediately formed behind us. It was so amazing. I was hit with such an adrenaline rush as soon as the song started. Everybody was screaming the entire song, from the opening "Don't know what's worse, the waiting or the waiting room", until the end. They got us involved with the "whoa"s in the song. It was so cool to hear everybody singing it in unison. Everybody was so rough and rambuncious (sp?), but it was so great.

The highlight of the show for me was when they played ".44 Caliber Love Letter"; my favorite AOF song. The song starts off with this slow guitar and eventually builds up into this screaming intro with fast riffs. Me and all my friends freaked out when the vocals hit, and then it got so rough in the crowd. It was so incredible. The best part of the album version of the song is when George stops screaming and just speaks in a regular voice "This is a .44 caliber love letter straight from my heart". When playing it live, George didn't speak it, he just held the microphone out and we all yelled it. That one part was the best part of the entire show. It was so loud!

Later on, they played "Hey, It's Your Funeral Mama", which they said was going to be their next single. They'll be filming it shortly. They played mostly songs from "Watch Out!", and only three from their self-titled, "Pulmonary Archery", ".44 Caliber Love Letter", and "Waterwings". Every song was amazingly performed to perfection, with great live tweaks. Songs from "Watch Out!" included "White Devil", "Accidents", "No Transitory" (last song before encore), "Hey, It's Your Funeral Mama", "Control" (ending song), "Get Fighted", "That Girl Possessed", and "Happiness By The Kilowatt".

Afterwards, we stuck around by the back door to see if the guys would come out and sign autographs. After about an hour of post-show drinking, the guys came out. I got my "Watch Out!" cd signed by Dallas, George, Wade, and Steele. It was funny because George came out with a huge bottle of Jack Daniels in one hand and a bottle of Miller Light in the other, so he had to juggle the bottles between both hands to sign autographs. All of the guys were awesome, down-to-earth people. It was so great to meet them.

Apparently, they went to an afterparty at a bar downtown and some of the guys played a couple of songs from their side project named "Black Lung". Wade sang for the most part. Apparently they were really good.

    Best night ever.

Did you even read the topic? It's about Jesse from Alexisonfire, not Jesse McCartney. Please get a clue. You're warned for homophobic language.
