Since JKR is scripting I have faith in it. It's her world and she'll know how to pull a story out of it.
I would rather see an adaptation of The Tales of Beedle the Bard as a sort of anthology of short films, especially when this is just a textbook in Harry's universe.
Obviously this is barely anything more but making money at this point, but it does make me excited, especially how she said it's an "extension of the wizarding world." We've got so many extensions already, but seeing it on film is different. Fantastic news.
I wonder if they'll manage to refrain from getting the lead cast members from the "Harry Potter" films involved
^Hopefully they'll just show them reading the book or something like that. I know Emma would be pissed if she had to do another Harry Potter film.
Let's hope so. This story would take place in the 1920's, right? I'm pretty sure I read that somewhere... They could add some characters from the Harry Potter films, like Dumbledore perhaps, but no Harry etc. pls. Anyways, J.K. Rowling herself is writing it, so I have faith in it. Could be good.
