iTunes + WLM?

This'll seem like a fairly basic question, but I'm wondering if I can get the "What I'm Listening To" feature on Windows Live Messenger to work with iTunes. I've Google'd and tried a few techniques which purport to get the two working together but they haven't worked. Just wondering if anyone on here could help?

I have the latest versions of WLM and iTunes (7.6.2) on a Hewlett Packard PC running XP SP2.

 

I've tried doing that too and came up empty as well...

 

im pretty sure all u have to do is click on What I'm Listening To and play a song and it will change....thats what mine does

 

That's the very first thing I tried, and it doesn't work.

 

Right click on your taskbar > go to toolbars > click iTunes.

I use iTunes to display that feature too lol

 

if you have a Mac, it will automatically do this on windows live messenger

 

...and yet I specifically stated in my post I was running a PC.

I tried Tom's suggestion and it didn't work. Oh well, I think I'm kind of over it now. Doesn't bother me too greatly.

 

I haven't used iTunes in ages, so I can't remember what exactly does it, but either StuffPlug or Messenger Plus! should do it.

 

Mine does it automatically.

 

That's weird. What versions of iTunes/WLM are you using?

Well I have iTunes version 7.3.2.6 and I have version 8.1 of Windows Live Messenger and it works perfectly for me, no idea why it won't work for you.
