We're nearing the holidays, and lots of people around the world seem to take that as an excuse to go nuts. Example: Robert Hawkins, the Omaha mall shooter. Then that letter bomb in Paris. The shootings in Colorado. What is it about this time of year? If it isn't shooting up someplace just because you're pissed off and want to be famous, it's something else that makes even less sense, like killing someone in front of you in the line to see Santa, because your kid is getting impatient. Isn't this supposed to be a time of giving? Instead, everyone seems to not care and want to take everything. Every year, around this time, all I have to do is go to a new site, and type in the words "Santa" and "killing", and voila! I've got about ten stories about parents who got into fights in the line. Or, even better, those people who rob someone, and kill them, just for three bucks and a bus pass. What's wrong with people?
I don't have much to say, but I do know what you mean. It bores and annoys me to the core like nothing else. I've watched lots of cop shows, and what some people'll do for so little is just amazing. The middle bit of my signature is actually quite true when you think of it too.
