Yesterday for the first time I heard Waiting For The End on the radio. almost a year after the album came out I finally head a song of ATS. I was so exited about it... Has anyone else not heard a song of ATS on the radio?
I'll tell you about the day I stopped listening to the radio... The date was August 2, 2010 and "The Catalyst" was being world premiered by my local Chicago-land alternative station. The two asshat DJs would then, after the song was played, superimpose their own narrow-minded thoughts about thier opinion on the song. They then took callers asking about their opinions on the song and those who thought the song was good was then ridiculed by these two morons and other callers that called in. It made me sick. Since that day, I've probably listened to the radio a total of one hour. Needless to say, my Ipod gets alot of attention, and I'm okay with that.
I don't listen to the radio but the only time I heard a song from ATS was when they debuted The Catalyst on BBC Radio 1.
I don´t really listen to the radio too, but one thing I noticed is that they don´t play ATS songs. Instead you hear New Divide, Shadow of the Day and sometimes Leave out all the rest but that´s it. When I listened to ATS for the first time I thought that they will play it all day long on the radio but I´ve only heard Waiting for the end three times and Burning in the skies once, that´s all. So actually you´re right...
I never listen to regular radio anymore (Sirius will spoil you like that), but Linkin Park songs always get constant play here.
I've heard Iridescent actually on Alt Nation XM. I also know WFTE got played on our pop station a while back a few times.
The only times I ever hear LP on the radio down here is their classics. So I can't say I've heard their songs on there, not that I really tune in.
I've heard The Catalyst and Waiting for the End multiple times on KROQ. They play LP a lot actually, I would hope so too since it's one of their hometown's radio stations.
Have not heard Waiting for the End. But i have heard Iridescent (full version, months before transformers 3 stuff), Wretches and Kings (no speech intro) and The Catalyst (Single version). Triple M used to use the break down from Blackout in there stupid radio segways. The LP songs i always hear on radio are Numb, New Divide and sometimes In The End. I'm surprised Shadow of the Day doesn't get much airplay in Australia. It is probably the best mainstream rock song since the 80's.
Numb, New Divide, Waiting For The End, We Made It, Numb/Encore and What I've Done are other LP songs I've heard on the radio.
LP gets play all the time on Satellite radio (XM/Sirius). In terms of regular radio, I hear WTFE a lot on the rock and pop stations.
Is it a bad thing that at initial look at the thread title, that I thought it was about losing virginity?
Used to hear a lot of Fort Minor songs on the radio. I only just realized this recently though because i had not listened to Rising Tied until yesterday. Freaking sweet record Rising Tied is. I hope they do a follow up.
