For the lots of you that have the privelege of owning an iPod, how the hell do you upload enhanced CDs? The "add files to library" won't show the tracks.

Privelige? It's more like a curse. It's either going to break in a month, or you won't be able to charge up the battery after prolonged use.

Either way, you'll have to replace the thing eventually. Stick to a CD player, or go for the better alternative: ATRAC3plus MP3 CD players.

Meh, buying an iPod was a mistake, the battery dies really fast and the sound quality sucks but anyway, the songs HAVE to be MP3's and they cant have protected licenses on them or maybe they can, i forget

So theres no way to get enhanced CD tracks on there?

And actually the quality sounds amazingly good to me. But yeah the whole "8 hour battery" thing was BS.

my sound is terrible on mine, kinda like Radio-Quality

Anyway, if you have Windows Media Player you can Copy the CD into .wma format then you have to get a file converter to convert it from .wma to .mp3 and i reccommend Mediamonkey for that

    - I ripped Meteora just fine in iTunes .. thats an ECD

    - The sound quilty is a good as your MP3s .. if you have a low bitrate then they will sound crappy .. If your still not happy then get some iner-earphones, i have some apple ones and they are awesome.

    - The battery life on mine is perfect .. and even if it does mess up you can replace the battery with a kit (yes you can before you try and be cleva)

    - You can convert WMA audio on the latest version of iTunes!

Do you own an iPod Cameron because it seems you only seem to be reading iPod hater websites? My 6 month year old iPod is a dream and i woundnt want to own anything but!

The main thing that turns me off from the iPod is A: The cost. You're just basically paying for a hard drive and that's it. Secondly, the eight hour battery life just isn't worth it. My atrac3plus mp3 CD player may not hold as much on a CD, but it lasts nearly 10 times longer than your iPod, and I've had minimal problems with it ever since I got it on Christmas.

Oh, and did I forget to mention that it doesn't cost nearly half as much as your iPod?
