The next track length from One More Light has been revealed in an Amazon listing that puts track 5 'Invisible' at a length of 3:34. It has not been officially confirmed by Linkin Park as to whether 'Invisible' will be the next song to be released from One More Light and the Amazon listing says the song will be available on May 19. It's worth noting that 'Invisible' was previously performed to the audience who were in attendance at the taping of James Corden's The Late Late Show back in February. Perhaps the recording of this performance will be aired someday. With the release of One More Light in 15 days (May 19), it is likely that the full track times for the album will be listed soon. Yeah, it's ridiculous Though it would be great to get another 5-minute track from the band. Hope there will be one or two on One More Light.
Just 4 seconds shorter then In Pieces and 3 seconds shorter then Final Masquerade, neither of which I consider particularly short songs at all.
You guys are already setting yourself up to dislike the song. A song doesn't need to be a certain length for it to be a good song.
3 and a half minutes is an average song length. It's not particularly short. Short is 'Heavy' which doesn't even clock in at 3 minutes. I'm happy that all songs thus far have been longer than that.
If the entire album is 30 minutes (just as an example) but the record is great, is song length or album length really going to matter?
Yes! I think One More Light will be the longest track on OML though. My guess for the rest of the album: Nobody Can Save Me 3:30 Talking to Myself 3:14 Sorry for Now 4:05 Halfway Right 3:41 One More Light 4:47 Sharp Edges 3:27
I like how Elaine's post is making fun of people who are irritated at the track length and you actually took it at face value. He played you like a fiddle, boy.
