What the hell does that mean? And what do I need to do to fix it? Everytime I download a GP4 file (Guitar pro) a box comes up with the filename, and then below that it says "Invalid menu handle." So yeah, any help would be great.

I don't see how that could be. I have the program, I just installed it. And I can download a few songs and it's fine. But most of them won't downlaod, and end up saying that.

It's an error with the program.

Is there a version conflict between the program and the file?

    Try using google.

No, there WAS an conflict version between the program and the files, but I got the new Guitar Pro, and the update for it. Most files only work with v4 1.01, or something like that, and i had v4 0.00 or whatever. So I have the correct program, so I don't know.

Google was the first thing I did by the way. It seemed some people had the same message come up (for different things) but each forum I went to, only had the person asking the question, nobody answered. And I went to atleast 3 different forums.

Yeah. it's a windows error. I think possibly some bad coding in GP4 or maybe you need some windows stuff. If you have XP or anything after that, have you installed the .NET framework?
