    um how do i delete the index.dat file from my cookies folder.cause i visited a porn site and now the history is not getting cleared :embarassed:

    Have you tried going tools>>internet options>>delete cookies AND delete files. In the delete files menu check 'delete all offline content' as well.

    I haven't used IE in awhile. But if that doesn't help go download a trial of 'Evidence Eliminator' or something like that. There's about a billion programs like that.

    yep tried that but that website has made itself my homepage.

    Go to TOOLS > INTERNET OPTIONS and you can change your homepage back to whatever you'd like.

    Like Neil said, deleting cookies and files should get the site off your cache.

    You mean on Kazaa?

    While the videos are downloading, they're saved as incomplete dat files. Once they finish, they change into the desired filename and extension.
