In Bands?

How many of the people here are actually in bands them selves? and what kind of music are you playing? and what instrument do you play?

 

I'm not in a band now, but I hope to start one next summer when I pick up guitar.

I'm learning guitar,but I don't think that I'll start a band. I don't know anyone around who has the same taste of music that I have!

I'm currently not in a band..a band I know may require another guitarist and I could be it. Oh I play guitar if you aint noticed

 

It's probably going to be a blend of Mudvayne, Linkin Park, and 30 Seconds To Mars. It depends.

 

I've been thinking of being in a band. Just for fun cause I have a problem with going in front of people and stuff. But I can't play any instruments and I don't like my voice.

 

im in a band...we actually have a show friday...we called FallOut..and umm i play the guitar and sing in it, and most the time make the music for the drums n bass cuz i got lazy band mates lol

 

I'm not in a rock band, but I do compose stuff (for lots of different instruments, but especially rock) on Guitar Pro 4 (anybody use MIDI software?).

I could write piano stuff for my friend's band if they need it. But since they play mainly hardcore punk (Anti-Flag, old AFI etc) I somehow doubt it!

I am planning to take up guitar or bass next year though, so I'll see if I can get form a band, as I have a couple of friends who play guitar and drums.

GP4 is really cool . That's a really good tool for learning songs. I'm not in a band but I play in my guitar group's shows (there are really few of them ).

 

Yep! It's called "Killcitizen." One word, take it apart it says Kill Citizen.
It's a goth/anarchist semi-emo band. I play bass, vocals, and write 80% of the lyrics.

 

Your band sound awesome hellview, I do vocals in our band, and I play guitar and drums but I dont do it live, and I write most of the lyrics. Were trying to mix together infleunces from Linkin park, Korn, System of a down, Disturbed, Orgy and Adema and just get a heavy metal sound thats unique, its cool because here in Australia we dont have any cool metal bands like SOAD or Disturbed, nor do we have nu-metal like korn and LP.
