Meteora just isn't holding out on my play list. Unlike Hybrid Theory, I can only listen to some songs for so long on Meteora. I seem to find myself going back to my Hybrid Theory and enjoying it, but Meteora and Reanimation ain't doing it for me lately. I liked the universiality of Hybrid Theory, and in my opinion, I just couldn't find it in the other two albums... I just can't wait for their next album...but I doubt it's coming any time soon...they're probably working on some music while on tour...but do you guys think they're working on any serious production?
well, they do have new material more than likely coming out on the Cd companion of the DVD/CD combo coming out in November. I can see them starting to write after Summer Sanitarium, but i wouldn't expect anything until Late 2004-Early 2005.
nope. not any serious production. the biggest I'd think right now is on the new dvd/cd, that's bout it.
Yeah, I'm surely gonna go out and buy that DVD...but...I need music, you know what I mean? Don't get me wrong, Meteora could easily be named the best CD of this year...just not the best in LP's awesome music line...IMO... Just, think about what Mark said...it'll be 'till 2004-05 until we hear some seriously new material... It may be because i'm an impatient mofo, but, too long for a new CD! No?
No. I'm closeminded, and I hate all other music that doesn't have anything to do with LP. Don't like LP? Well, I don't like you. Discussion closed. JK. Thanks for your offer to help me get to know other bands, but, I do listen to other music, and plenty of it. But, I always love to hear LP, and just was ranting about wanting to hear some new stuff, tis all. Unless you want to inform me on any bands that are similair to LP, I could use that info. Otherwise, I don't want you to waste your time telling me about bands...but that's nice of you asking
Do it like me: 1. Listen to Hybrid Theory twice 2. Then listen to Reanimation twice 3. Then after that listen to Meteora twice 4. Continue the process you'll never get bored like that
Whoa. That's close to what I did when I was getting sick of Meteora, lmao. [/b][/quote] i might try this method Meteora is starting to piss me off
Elie, you have to realize that Linkin Park is a new band. They're not like The Rolling Stones or Aerosmith who have tons of albums for you to listen to; Linkin Park are only on their sophomore album. Stop whinning, brotha. I feel your pain too, but you're gonna have to wait. That's it.
I guess your right. But, it's like experiencing a tasteful new food for the very first time...and then your parents never let you experience it anymore and they say "later"...
Or it's like riding a cool ride at Disneyland, and then it breaks and it never comes back... (Referring to Rocket Rods.) Either way, I see what you mean.
Sorry had to do that a couple times. Do you NOT have any ears at all? Somewhere I Belong is harder then EVERYTHING on Hybrid Theory, and SIB is by far the softest song on the record.
I think both are SOMEWHAT equally harder... Edit: Well, I mean, they both have hard songs, and it's hard for me to decide which is "harder." I frankly don't care to be honest.

i think ur all bored with meteora cuz u outlistened it when it came out, since it was so long for some NEW material from lp
