I need everyone’s help.

Well, here’s the deal. I’m in love with a girl — as if you couldn’t tell by looking at my signature — and she knows it. I’ve been emailing her and she’s been replying, but I think she’s getting agitated that I won’t talk to her. In all of her emails, she tells me to just talk to her. I know that I won’t get anywhere if I don’t talk to her, but I’m too shy — can you believe it? — so it’s hard for me to talk to her. But, there’s something else. I think she’s just as shy as I am, because she won’t talk to me — just like I won’t talk to her. I’ve come to the conclusion that she’s like me: open around people she’s not attracted to and shy around people she is attracted to.

I don’t really know what I’m asking, but what’s everyone’s take on the situation?

well,i totally know how you feel...but the only real solution is to get up the guts,and talk to her....if she likes you,then youll both start talking,and make things much easier for yourselves...plus youll get brownie points for making the first move....good luck with her and i hope it all works out

There's only really one thing you can do. You just need to build up the balls to walk up to her and be like "Hey babe wanna hook up later tonight?" lol.

But seriously, thats what you gotta do, just walk up to her and ask her how shes doing then get a conversation going. If you're too scared to go alone, have a good friend go with you.

It's okay to bring a friend along because you're talking for the first time, and not making out.......... So if you were to just bring a friend for maybe the first2 times you talk to he it should make it alot easier.......

I never thought of that...

Plus, whenever I see her in the halls she’s always — ALWAYS — looking at me. And she looks at me a lot in class as well.

And, by saying that, I basically said that I look at her all the time, too.... But how can I not? She’s so ####### beautiful.

Uhh.. no.

 

The only thing you can really do is just talk to her. Just like try and think in your head over and over again that she likes you and nothing is ever gonna happen unless you talk to her. It shouldnt be that hard to talk to someone that you know likes you. Maybe you could also try calling her if you havent already.

Does she know you are shy? If she doesnt, tell her in a email and ask her if she can talk to you first.

I do that. I tell myself all the time that if I don’t talk to her I’ll never get her and she’ll never know how I really feel. And I’d call her if I knew her number. She has mine, though, but she won’t call me until I say hi to her. And she knows I’m shy, too. In the last email I sent her, I told her that if she wants me to talk to her so bad, why she can’t talk to me herself. It doesn’t make sense to me.

By the end of spring break I’ll probably have enough courage to finally talk to her. Either the Tuesday I go back to school or that Wednesday I’ll probably talk to her.
