Who claimed they broke up? I don't remember that at all.

Anyways, I love Dead Poetic. I know Brandon doesn't dig the screaming anymore but it'd be nice to hear their old style, even if there's no screaming. I didn't like Vices.

Well, maybe you missed it, but they did drop off a bunch of tours a year ago, and, not to mention, that Brandon Rike said that he lost his passion for music in an article he did for WhatToDoAbout.com. Throw in some serious inactivity on their website and MySpace pages and you have the popular belief that Dead Poetic was dead.

Oh yeah. I forgot about that. Maybe I was thinking of some other band.

Didn't one of them actually say they'd split up at one point, or am I mistaken?

There was never an official statement from the label or any of the members that they had broken up.

That's great news, I was wondering if they were still together because they are a local band and they weren't even playing shows around here

Wait, wait, wait — I thought their "best of" album was already announced? I'm confused.

Was the PRP just reiterating they've got a best-of album coming out, or am I going crazy?
