Yeah, I know this is more of a rock/alternative-oriented site.... but deep down, I am a rap fan, and a rap fan only.... LP is the only non-rap artist I listen to. So first off.... 1) Do you listen to rap music? and 2) If yes... which are your favorite artists?
Yes, I do. My faaavorites would have to be: El-P, Aesop Rock, Bone Thugs 'N Harmony, Cage, Handsome Boy Modeling School, Binary Star, Ghostface Killah, Macklemore, Brother Ali, Notorious BIG, and Snoop Dogg.
Apathy, Lupe Fiasco, Jay-Z, Styles of Beyond, El-P, Cage, Yakballz, Nas, Saul Williams, Weerd Science, Eminem, Kanye West, Gym Class Heroes, Common, Will Smith, T.I., Wycleaf Jean, Etc...
Rap is all I listen too. Lupe, Kanye, Common, Jay, Nas, Bone Thugs, Biggie, Talib, Wu Tang, KRS One, The Game, Lil Wayne, Celph Titled, Joe Budden, and many others.
Since I'm a rapper myself my iTunes is pretty much dominated by hip-hop. Immortal Technique, Brother Ali, Fort Minor, Atmosphere, Styles of Beyond, Lupe Fiasco, Gym Class Heroes, Nas, Apathy, Jedi Mind Tricks, Jurassic 5, Kanye West, Dead Prez, Celph Titled, Chamillionare and loads more. -edit- How the hell did I forget KRS One and Canibus?
My all time favourite hip hop artists would have to be Dälek, Psycho Realm, Delinquent Habits. When it comes to english rap. Alias, Andre Nickatina, Beastie Boys, Brother Ali, Chain of Command, Nas are also artists I enjoy (plus classic acts such as NWA, KRS-One, Wu-Tang Clan and so on). I guess i could mention the more "hip hop" moments of DJ Krush and Fun-Da-Mental, although they pretty much belong to a whole other spectrum of music (trip-hop/ dub more or less). As far as other languages are concerned, I pretty much love French hip hop, especially Keny Arkana and Supreme NTM, and Greek artists (Terror X Crew and Active Member are highly reccomended).
I do listen to rap but not a lot really. That said, I've been in love with Lupe Fiasco when I first heard him a while back. I used to love Eminem as well. Oh yeah, Eyedeas And Abilities are amazing. But I HATE 50 Cent
You and me both mate. I don't listen to a great deal of rap but I do like the genre and these artists: Eminem, Dead Celebrity Status, Fort Minor, Jay-Z, Lupe Fiasco, Dead Prez, Chamillionaire, Wu-Tang Clan, Tupac, Celph Titled, Common, D12, NWA, Gym Class Heroes, Will Smith, Styles Of Beyond, Snoop Dogg, NERD, Biggie Munchos and a few more.
I don't listen to rap as much as I listen to hip-hop... Cunninlynguists, Jurassic 5, Jedi Mind Tricks, Army of the Pharaohs, Wu-Tang Clan, The Roots, Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, Digable Planets, Beastie Boys, De La Soul, A Tribe Called Quest, Apathy, Styles of Beyond, Gym Class Heroes, Far*East Movement, Jay-Z, Jin, Kanye West, Fugees, Ludacris, Magnetic North, Planet Asia, Eminem, Proof, Saul Williams...

I used to be a huge fan of rap music, but my passion started dying down years ago. Today I only really listen to The Beastie Boys and occasionally some other stuff, mostly, from the 90's (Snoop, Wu-Tang, Tribe Called Quest, etc). I'm starting to like Lupe Fiasco a little bit, as well.
I don't listen to much rap but I like these artist M-flo. They're pretty good for Japaneses hip hop. Emienem. Lupe Fiasco. Gym Class Heroes. Fort Minor. Styles of Beyond. I listen to some nelly don't like him that much but some of his songs are good. Also. Dragon Ash(Japanese) Nobody Knows+(Japanese) Will Smith, Kanye West. and some I don't know the names of because I only hear them on the radio..
In no particular order, I like Gym Class Heroes, Fort Minor, Styles of Beyond, Atmosphere, Proof, D12, Will Smith, Lupe Fiasco, Apathy, Common, The Roots, Run-DMC, B2C lol and MC Lars. Edit: I forgot Jurassic 5, as well as Jay-Z, Ludacris and LL Cool J lol.

I like rap music, but I can't listen to it for too long. Lupe Fiasco Fort Minor Saul Williams Jay-Z Aesop Rock Kanye West Those are the rappers I actually listen to.
I like Saul Williams, to an extent, and Kanye although I haven't actually listened to all of his last album yet. Boogie Down Productions/KRS-One are another one I missed. Handsome Boy Modeling School had their moments as well, and on that note I'll listen to anything involving Dan Nakamura and probably like it.
