how do you change your display picture?

I am confused! I managed to put a display picture on but i can't remember how to change it.

 

My Controls > Personal Profile > Edit Avatar Settings

you know what...i can't seem to change mine too, everytime i try, the page opens up again, but my avatar hasn't changed...and i want to know HOW to add a picture in my signature...

To add a picture to your profile, you have to upload the picture to a picture host. A good one is www.photobucket.com. Upload the picture to that host, then you edit your signature and click the IMG button next to the tag buttons and paste the link of the picture. Or, if the picture is in a place on the internet, just hit IMG and copy and paste the link.
