The idea is simple. List the songs which you were completely blown away by in the very first listen, and you went "holy shit dude, that's crazy"! Please don't list a whole bunch of 'em together. Keep them for posting later on
Welcome Home by Coheed and Cambria Unholy Confessions by Avenged Sevenfold Chop Suey by System of a Down Through the Fire and Flames by Dragonforce. I'll think of more later.
DragonForce - Through the Fire and the Flames Avenged Sevenfold - Unholy Confessions My Chemical Romance - Thank You for the Venom (yeah, bite me. That opening riff was a real 'holy shit' moment for me) I'll think of more later.
Nas - Every Ghetto A7X - Strength of the World Lupe Fiasco - Little Weapon AZ - The Format Atmosphere - Lovelife Will post more later.
Rooftops by Lostprophets. The first time I heard it was live and it was fucking fantastic. Shame that didn't stick with the recorded version I remember that Pts.Of.Athrty amazed me when I first heard it as well. I think that was just because I didn't expect it though, I just turned the radio on and it was playing and I was like "wooooooo!"
Dragonforce - Operation Ground And Pound Nightwish - Walking In The Air Kamelot - Somewhere In Time (The Haunting) Yeah so alot of power metal lol. There are so many songs that I think ''Holy Shit'' though. I picked those 3 because they're the most epic.
Linkin Park - No Roads Left, just really an amazing song. I also hope that Linkin Park make songs more so like this on their next album.
Prince - When Doves Cry CKY - 96 Quite Bitter Beings HIM - Buried Alive By Love That's all I can think of right now. I've got tons more like that, but I can't think of them as of now.
The Sweetest Wave by Funeral For A Friend. Probably one of the most epic songs I've ever heard, it made my hair stand up and still gives me goosebumps sometimes. And I second the notion of Welcome Home by Coheed & Cambria.
Valley of the Damned - Dragonforce When I heard the first riff I was like, "Wow. This is incredible." Then ZP started singing and I was blown away and thought "These guys aren't just incredible. They're amazing." Life Is Beautiful - Sixx A.M. I was listening to the radio with Rachel, and we didn't know what to think. But then when I heard the chorus it was a holy shit moment.
