Help: .avi files

    What applications can you open avi. files with? Do you need to download a driver or can you use it right off the bat? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

    I forget the program I use on my computer, but google for DivX, first link should help.

    WMP should open and play and if not make sure you have the right codecs as the avi file maybe coded as Divx or Xvid. Just google them both and download the codecs, when installed the AVI files should play fine

    if it is divx .avi, you will need to download the codec for wmp which is free.
