Anyone else excited about this? By the way, it was announced as a new trilogy.
Uh, yeah. It's gonna be fucking awesome. Fucking fuck yeah. Like, a lot of yeah. That teaser alone is amazing. I love how it starts in Chief's balls, hahaha.
Activision: "By the end of the world, people will STILL be playing Call of Duty! " Activision Intern: "Uh, sirs? Bungie's releasing Halo 4 around the holiday season 2012." Activision: "You mean...the last game everyone will be playing before they die will be Halo 4?" Activision Intern: "Yes." Activision: "" Bungie: ""
Haha. I kinda wasn't being all cereal there... hence the 'lulz' Anyways... The Halo CE anniversary edition looks sweet too. Best part I heard was that it is not supposed to be a full priced release... They also said the same about ODST, but what the hell. I'm still going to get it. I saw on Halo Waypoint last night that you can switch between the classic game and the anniversary upgrade with the push of a button. Not to mention my favorite part: Achievements.
Sorry for somewhat necro-posting this... Here are some new videos from 343 industries:
I apologize again for the necro/double post, but, 343 showed a game play trailer at E3 and it is fan-fucking-tastic.
cannot wait another second looks amazing and really cant wait to see the play the story behind. my excitment for this game is beyond my post
Didn't really excite me to be honest. As of yet I'm still undecided whether to pick this up on day one. It just isn't jumping out at me as being something fresh and different... and I like Halo.
Honestly, when I first found out about Halo 4, I was skeptical about the whole Covenant v Spartan thing yet again but including Forerunners in this adds a whole new aspect to it that I reckon I'll enjoy. Plus the gameplay footage from E3 looks awesome as shit.
The only negative thing I can pick from this is the fact that it doesn't seem to add much in terms of the gameplay/engine itself (for example Frostbite Engine > Frostbite Engine 2.0).
