thats dumb cause in the 2nd halo at the end it showed like 7 different halo rings and me and my friends all thought thered be a game for each one LOL kinda wish there woudl've been

I don't think this is the last Halo game.

On the newly-updated Halo 3 FAQ on bungie.net, it merely states that Halo 3 is the "conclusion to this story arc."

Note the use of the word "this" in reference to the story arc. That may mean there's at least one more story arc pertaining to the Halo universe.

But I don't think it's the last Halo game.

 

Meh, now I'm going to have to save for a PS3 AND an Xbox 360 just so I can play Halo 3. They should release a version for Xbox for those of us not rich enough to buy the next-gen consoles.

It looks like it'll be good. It better be considering they left us with a cliffhanger in Halo 2.
