Being a HL2 fan, my advice is not to get too excited when a game is 'basically done'. Basically done could mean anything.
Awsome. HL2 is gonna be the best FPS on XboX (IMO). November 9th is when my butt wont leave my chair for 24 hours. BTW does anyone know if it has custom sound tracks? one word LIVE playing on XboX live is awsome with any FPS and being able to have 3 guests will be fun and also Lan partys are fun me and my friends will have a lan party and play halo for like 5+ hours straight loads of fun so hopefully HL2 will be just/more fun then HL1.
... I'm not saying a word. They're shipping it out to be pressed. How much more "done" do you want it to be???
That's all they have to do. They completed beta testing for Xbox Live over two weeks ago, so that's done. The actual game itself just had to be tweaked and have the cutscenes completed. All of that is done. The only thing left is pressing and shipping.
HL2 = Half-Life 2 H2 = Halo 2 Anyway, it doesn't really bother me, the release date isn't going to change. This news does not have me looking forward to the game anymore than i was 1 year ago.

In that case it's done. But even then, it might be a little while. I'd say holiday season. But look at HL2, it's not being released on time due to legal issues and stuff.
November 9th. That's the final release date and it is not going to change. [/b][/quote] If it does change, i'll send a letter with anthrax
