Anyway, I went to EBGames the other day and pre-ordered Halo 2 Limited Edition version for an extra $5, includes a DVD packed with extra content like art galleries, deleted cinematics and characters, and dozens of featurettes.

 

That's probably not the final cover for it, they still need to add the ESRB Rating (which will probably be Mature) and stuff! But i agree, they need to do better...do you know whats in the collector's box set thingy or not?

 

Wow! Both of them look amazing.

I'm trying to talk my dad into pre-ordering the game for me.

sweet, but i dont have a XBox....want one, but my family is bitching at me since we have a PS2, we got to buy more games and stuff for XBOx and stuff...

For the record:

The Halo 2 box art is not the final box art. Bungie put that together for promotional purposes. The real box art has yet to be revealed.

However, the Limited Collector's Edition box art is official and final, and the box isn't going to be a box at all, but rather it is going to be a tin case.

 

Good, because it's hideous.

 

It doesn't really matter which cover design they choose, we're all still going to purchase Halo2 when it arrives in the stores.
